Rick Ruskin of MTI will be discussing RAID disk drive technologies. This technology overview will potentially cover the following topics: RAID Configuration/Reconfiguration, Fault Tolerance, Performance and Tuning Issues, Mirroring, Striping, Backup and RAID Standards.

MTI is a leader in the area of high-performance, fault tolerant storage systems. MTI owns 28 patents in the area of RAID and Fault Tolerance and is a founding member of the RAID Advisory Board (RAB). MTI also sits on various technology governing boards, and has cooperative partnerships with companies such as Sybase, Oracle and Informix for their database acceleration products.
